How to setup a NEW WiFi network for the Smart Tags

If the Smart Tags have been already used successfully inside a location and you want to use them inside a NEW location you have 2 options in order to setup the NEW permanent WiFi network:

Using the connection provided by the OLD permanent WiFi network

To do so:

  1. Make sure that the internet connection of the OLD permanent WiFi network is working properly and the SSID is visible.
  2. Access the Accuware dashboard at at this link and follow the instructions on the login screen.
  3. Turn ON all the Smart Tags that you need to re-configure following these steps for each Smart Tag:
    1. Shake the Smart Tag and at the same time start pressing the button. LED2 will start blinking. Keep the button pressed and keep shaking the Smart Tag until LED2 stays ON.
    2. Once LED2 stays ON, stop pressing the button (LED2 will turn OFF).
    3. The Smart Tag is now active.
  4. Click on Wearabouts > Map.
  5. Look at the Devices table. The Smart Tags should be shown active and the Last Seen should not be bigger than the minimum between the Moving and the Stationary parameter.
  6. You have now 2 options:
    • Click on Wearabouts > Configuration – if you want to change the network parameters of all the Smart Tags.
    • or click on Wearabouts > Devices and then click on the Config button – if you want to change the network parameters of a specific Smart Tag.
